Lack of Posts = A Great Surprise!

I'm loving that I'm still getting amazing book review requests and I've already delved into so many of them (despite my very conspicuous lack of posts). Here's the thing. There's a reason why there hasn't been a lot of things from me or reviews in the last while. I'll be sharing some specific details in a post on Monday, but not the main one.

Some HUGE is coming! And it's the main reason. (If you didn't guess) I can't wait to tell all you lovely readers about it. Keep your eyes glued here and check back, I'm so excited for this you have no idea. I'm staying up way too late all the time working on it and am very zombie like with my kids and hubby the next day. :P The surprise is coming! :D

Gotta Hit this Deadline -- Plus a Blog Makeover

So over the course of the 4+ years of writing my novel I'd say I've made about 10 different deadlines for myself. I've only met three of them. As you can imagine this is pretty frustrating, so I'm determined to make the one I've now set. Until that happens I've gotta leave off the blog for a bit. (all reviews that were scheduled will still happen just a while later) Cause it seems like every time I sit down to work on finishing the last bits of revision for my novel I work on my blog instead. But if I do make this deadline I'm going to do a really fun blog mini-makeover afterwards so stay tuned. Here's hoping I can actually do what I've set out to do.

Blog's on Hold till After Oct 14

So as of right now I won't be writing any reviews or posting until after Oct 14, 2012. I'm writing and editing at an insane pace because I want my manuscript to be as polished as possible before I send it to Harper Voyager on Oct 14th. Why I Haven't Been Blogging

To all my faithful readers. I'm so sorry I haven't been blogging. After many late nights trying to get everything ready for Leap Into Chapter One On Leap Day and to send out my query letters, I just didn't get on the ball last friday and then this past monday, well a dragon of a cold hit both me and my son. For a better idea of what that's like for me at my house check out my post here. As I am now on the mend I'm back on the computer. :D Yay. So take a look at the latest review from the Peacock Flock and look forward to a 'Mommyhood Moments' post tomorrow!

Short Hiatus

So I started training as a school bus driver today which was pretty interesting. But as training will be about 9 hours each day Mon through Friday for the next two weeks at least, I'm going to take a short hiatus from my blogs. I'll be back up again on Aug 27th the new deadline for sending out queries. Hopefully in the short amount of time I have in the evenings and on the weekends I can get my fill of time with my son and my husband and work on polishing my novel. Till then.
